After School, We Wander in Space

Synopsis

After School, We Wander in Space Chapter 66 has been released. Madoi Ayame's face was plastered all over every social media platform within minutes – not because of some stunning revelation about herself, but due to a catastrophic engine failure captured on live camera feed during the Kinoshima Rocketry Club's ill-fated demonstration of their latest hybrid propulsion technology. As her clubmates scrambled to salvage what remained of their project, Ayame struggled to comprehend why complete strangers were declaring themselves smitten by her awkwardness caught on film. Ayame had always harbored secret hopes that one day Tachibana Kaito would notice her beyond mere acquaintanceship, but even if she dared fantasize about his affection, she never imagined it'd be sparked via global internet infamy. As unwanted fame swirled around her like a maelstrom, Ayame felt unease creeping beneath her usually composed demeanor – fear of being forever typecast as 'that girl from the exploding video,' anxiety-ridden expectations from adoring fans clamoring to get closer to her perceived new star status... And above all else, intense scrutiny under which any hidden trysts between her and enigmatic Kaito would inevitably become the center of public attention. Forced back onto spotlight once more after initially trying to dodge it, Ayame longs for genuine intimacy – something very far removed from fleeting social media fads fueled by instant gratification. Amidst all this impulsive enthusiasm chaos swirling around them, could perhaps the calm beauty offered by spaces quietly provided for an unshackling desire deep inside each’s hearts beckon these awkward teenagers toward miraculously awaited human connections?
