Daddy, Daddy

Synopsis

Daddy, Daddy Chapter 9 has been released. Min-soo's life was already in shambles after his latest business venture tanked, leaving him deeply indebted to loan sharks. To make matters worse, he'd just been served divorce papers by his cheating ex-wife – the mother of his adorable eight-year-old daughter, Su-jin. But when Min-soo finally musters up the courage to pick up Su-jin from daycare only to be rejected at the gate due to unpaid tuition fees, a sullen but undeniably cute child shows up instead – claiming to be their long-lost family friend, Da-hyun, whom Min-soo had never heard of before. The taunting kid goes so far as to call Min-soo 'Daddy' right in front of everyone else, despite Min-soo having done nothing fatherly whatsoever. Now thrown headfirst into parenting chaos while being pursued by aggressive creditors who refuse to budge until they get paid back double the debt, it becomes clear that Min-soo has lost all control of what was left of his once-above-average adult life, though finding himself questioning whether or not being someone worthy enough to bear the title might, somehow, still be possible.
