Synopsis
Isekai Uncle Chapter 35 has been released. Takafumi's eyes widened as his uncle emerged from thin air, a bewildered expression etched on his rugged face like a stranger who'd stumbled into the wrong century. The authorities were still trying to figure out how to wrap their heads around the possibility of interdimensional travel when the disheveled form of Ojisan collapsed onto the hospital bed, exhaustion radiating off him like heat haze. For 17 long years, he'd endured unfathomable horrors beyond their world – yet here he stood, returning to life after an eternity away. The pitiful state of Ojisan sent shivers down Takafumi's spine. A collection of tissue-thin scars meandered across his chest, sporadic reminders of battles fought and lost in realms unblessed by humanity's laws of physics. That die-hard gaming fanatic had unwittingly become a soot-stained knight errant, grappling with malevolent presences whose natures defied comprehension. Now, however faint, flickers of recognition kindled within those war-weary eyes whenever something referenced those ancient campaigns of yore: Sega Genesis' unyielding soundtrack churning through memories as fervent as ever. Looming at every turn was another crisis waiting to happen – each potential pothole threatening to swallow the distressed veteran whole all anew. Takafumi could almost hear his own anguish echoing through the halls: As grandmas fawned over obnoxious novelty cakes sporting garish colors meant 'for kids', compassionate friends walked by asking universally grim questions – How can we ever comprehend such impossible stories told without earnest counterpoise against pained anxiety that tower skyward tonight. These day-by-day enigmatic put-downs poured stress heavier always upon lonely shoulders casting mountainous loads slowly meant but visible wrapped private holiness greasy shields shut behind whitewashed gray surf; frost-surrounded sunshine wore its red twin terror pierced arcing torch held uniform dragging dusty drying abandoned collections rust all again rueful masses pilfered greying ugly.
