Otherworld Service Record

Synopsis

Otherworld Service Record Chapter 23 has been released. In the unassuming life of Rin Tachibana, a woman in her thirties who's had her fair share of disappointment in love, a seismic shift occurs when she's unexpectedly transported to a mystical realm two years ago. On the surface, she's been leading a tranquil existence as an administrative officer within the esteemed Magic Swordsmen Order. However, beneath this façade, a cauldron of unresolved emotions simmers, yearning to be unleashed. When the enigmatic king and commander of the Border Guard extend a clandestine request, Rin's world is once again turned upside down. Their proposition is both intriguing and unnerving: to provide her unique services to Oscar Garland, a peerless magic swordsman revered for his unwavering integrity and bravery. Oscar's captivating presence has captivated the hearts of both men and women, yet to Rin, he embodies a far more complex and formidable figure – the "unbelievably rude man" she's long endeavored to avoid. As Rin's reluctance gives way to reluctant acquiescence, she's assured that her services are, in fact, a medically prescribed necessity. However, as their interactions intensify, Rin finds herself grappling with the enigmatic Oscar's responses to her touch – reactions that defy his supposed aversion to women and instead reveal an unexpectedly sensual vulnerability. The once-frozen heart of Rin begins to stir, its dormant embers reignited by the tantalizing prospect of rekindling her own long-dormant passions. As Rin becomes increasingly entwined in Oscar's life, she's forced to confront the shadows of her own past, the disappointments that have left her heart feeling calloused and unyielding. Yet, it's amidst the swirling vortex of emotions, the precarious dance of power and vulnerability, that Rin discovers a hidden potential within herself – a capacity to heal, to love, and to rediscover the very essence of her own existence. Will she be able to reconcile her past heartaches and find solace in the unlikeliest of relationships, or will the weight of her own emotional baggage prove too great to overcome?
