Please Don’t Die!

Synopsis

Please Don’t Die! Chapter 35 has been released. Hajin's fingers tremble as he clutches the hospital bed railing, eyes fixed on the faint pulse monitor beeping away his last shred of dignity. It's been three days since that careless accident, but his mind refuses to release its hold on the fleeting moments before – the flash of fear on her face, the desperate grab for his wrist, and then nothingness. Nothingness except for the ethereal whisper: _Please don't die_. Yuna, a soft-spoken apparition with piercing green eyes, haunts the fringes of his world now, eternally bound by some unseen thread to the shattered remains of his existence. Each waking moment brings near-certain devastation closer; each fading breath tightens the vise-like grip of mortality. Time defies all logic as minutes feel like hours and every ephemeral second resounds with the echo of finality. This disorienting confrontation with extinction rips aside the layers of carefree youthfulness leaving only bereaved outlines of what once was – hints at relationships broken by shock, chance acquaintances pursued futilely to ward off despair, meaningless proficiencies contrasted against irreparable losses and heart-wrenchingly quiet goodbyes whispered softly before being torn away, thrown violently to harsh cruel ground through unexpectant accident and blind fate – stirring deep-seated lucidity about one sheer hard unpalatable unyielding truth; That everyone and everything is yet again fragile branches damaged lightly.
