There Are Monsters Here, Too

Synopsis

There Are Monsters Here, Too Chapter 6 has been released. The moon casts its sickle-shaped shadow across the crumbling rooftops of Yogido's Old Town, as if warning of secrets lurking within every shadowed alleyway. Akira stumbles through these narrow passages, her hand pressed against the bloody slash on her side – a souvenir from an encounter that has left more questions than answers. Why do they call it 'Awakening' when it feels like being torn apart by unseen hands? As she navigates the labyrinthine streets, whispers follow her like restless spirits. Rumors speak of Yogido's hidden histories and ancient pacts forged beneath the city's surface. It's said that certain individuals possess knowledge, abilities tied to supernatural forces – but few dare acknowledge their existence aloud. These silent guardians move undetected behind a veil of smoke and mirrors, always staying one step ahead of those who seek them. The murmurs hint at simmering tensions brewing between rival groups, each trying to exploit Yogido's murky mystique for their own purposes. As tensions escalate, Akira becomes entangled in this web of power struggles, with some hoping to claim her strength for their own agendas while others seek to protect her from becoming a pawn in a much larger game. Within these narrow, winding alleys, myth blurs into reality. Hidden away are remnants of forgotten cults, hoodwinked locals turning blind eyes, and cloistered hierophants guarding unearthly artifacts – relics imbued with strange energies. In such an environment, rumors flood marketplaces under the guise of carefully guarded truths. Amidst the disquieting unknown, lies hide within folds of mythology, flooding imagination and using interlocking webs woven from shadows and human misconceptions.
